Bring your face to Ace! Ace Esthetics (Æ) is a skin centered, community minded, pro-LGBTQIA+, pro-parent, gratuity free business. Anna Joy (AJ) Nieto (she/her), owner and esthetician of Æ, is invested in creating space and services that meet your needs and knows it is a privilege to spend energy and resources to enhance your quality of life through skincare and body waxing. AJ has been a practicing esthetician since December of 2020, after graduating from PJ’s College of Cosmetology May 2020. AJ was mentored by Holly Butters of ButterSkin Studio from 2019 - 2021. She also carries a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of Colorado Denver. ~~~ OASIS, Ace Esthetic’s low-to-no-cost program offering gender affirming skin and hair removal services to Kentuckiana trans folks, has been in effect since the beginning. Karen Fig
Karen Fig has been an esthetician since 2022 after graduating Blue Cliff College in New Orleans, and a massage therapist since 2017. Her previous spa experience was with luxury resort spas in New Orleans and Tennessee, and she’s looking forward to working in a more intimate, community-minded practice space. Karen’s skincare and bodywork ethos is nurturing and empowering. She brings a judgment-free, open energy to her practice space. Karen proudly belongs to the LGBTQIA+ community, and joyfully aligns with Ace Esthetics’ vision and business model.
